Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng met officials in Singapore today and inspected the city-state's housing facilities.
She met Minister for National Development Mah Bow-tan to discuss housing issues, particularly the regulation of private housing developments in Singapore.
She also visited the Urban Redevelopment Authority to learn its regulatory regime of first-hand private residential properties, and inspected show flats in four private housing developments, which are usually set up on site or on vacant land nearby.
