*
three models of British Design extension unit
Safety alert: Consumers should stop using power-extension units UK03, UK06 and UK104S.
*

Consumers should stop using three models of British design power-extension unit - UK03, UK06 and UK104S - for safety reasons, the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department urges.

A recent inspection showed the units' internal power cables may have an overheating problem during use, posing a fire risk. The products were supplied to DSC Stores from October to January.

The supplier, Phos Trading Company, is recalling the products. Recall notices were in newspapers today. Call 2453 1015 for details.
