LPG samples pass lab tests

*
Electrical & Mechanical Services Department

Laboratory tests on liquefied-petroleum gas samples have found no breach of auto-LPG specifications, the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department said today.

In its investigation into recent reports of vehicles having problems with LP gas, the department said it has received the results of tests conducted on the Mainland and some results of checks in Germany. The LPG samples complied with specifications.

The department will submit all test results and analysis to the task force formed after the incident, for comprehensive investigation.
