Taxis allowed overnight Ma Wan access
*
Transport Department

Starting tomorrow, urban taxis will be permitted to access Ma Wan overnight, from 11pm to 7am, to meet residents' transport needs.

Passengers accessing Ma Wan are required to pay a $30 surcharge to cover the Lantau Link toll in addition to taxi fares.

The Transport Department said Ma Wan residents asked for overnight taxi access to cater for their urgent transport needs.

Urban taxis will be allowed to access Ma Wan up to the Pak Lam Road roundabout where a picking up/setting down point is located. There are traffic signs along the Lantau Link and Ma Wan Road to guide taxi drivers.
