540 carplate numbers to be auctioned

Transport Department

The Transport Department will auction 540 ordinary and special vehicle registration marks May 3 and 11. The opening price is $1,000 for every mark.

 

Applicants who have paid $1,000 deposit to reserve a mark must take part in the bidding, or it may be sold to another bidder. Click here to check the marks put up for auction.

 

Buyers must pay the purchase price by crossed cheque and complete the Memorandum of Sale of Registration Mark immediately after the bidding. Subsequent changes of the particulars are not allowed.

 

The registration marks can only be assigned a motor vehicle registered in the buyer's name. Special registration marks are non-transferable. For other auction details click here.
