Lantau island site up for auction

Lands Department

A Lantau Island site in Cheung Sha has been triggered for sale under the application list system. It will go up for auction on October 15, along with an Aberdeen lot.

 

The Lantau site - Lot No 245 in Demarcation District No 331 - attracted a minimum guaranteed bid of $200 million, whcih will be the openiing bid at the auction, subject to its reserve price.

 

The site is about 16,587 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes.  A minimum gross floor area of 3,981 square metres must be completed.

 

Aberdeen Inland Lot No 451 at Welfare Road, Aberdeen, will also be on the auction block at this financial year's sixth Government land auction at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

 

The final conditions of sale will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department's website by October 5 when the auction's particulars will also be gazetted.
