Outfall to be built in Sham Shui Po
*

The Housing, Planning & Lands Bureau has announced a plan to construct an outfall a part of the Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme near the shipyard at Hing Wah Street West in Sham Shui Po.

The works will remove a section of the existing seawall, about 65 metres long. About 650 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed will also be affected.

The works will begin in 2008 and be completed by the end of 2011.

Those who have an interest in or over the related foreshore and sea-bed can raise an objection to the Lands Department on or before August 9.
