Barrier enhancement tenders invited

North Lantau Highway

Safety drive: North Lantau Highway is one of the 13 roads which will have safety barriers strengthened.

Works to strengthen bridge barriers along 13 roads will start in January and be completed 11 months later.

 

It involves Tuen Mun, Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin, Shing Mun Tunnel, Tseung Kwan O Tunnel, Ching Cheung, Lung Cheung, and Shek Pai Wan Roads, the Tolo, Cheung Tsing and North Lantau Highways, plus the Kwun Tong Bypass and Island Eastern Corridor.

 

The works mainly comprise the installation of additional steel posts and rails to strengthen existing parapets, and the modification of traffic signs and associated works.

 

Contractors on the List of Approved Contractors for Public Works in Group C for Roads & Drainage Works are invited to submit bids.
