29 arts council entries received

*

The Home Affairs Bureau said today 29 eligible candidates have been nominated for the 10 arts interests in the current nomination exercise for the Arts Development Council.

One candidate is running uncontested in drama while no nomination was received for arts criticism. Nominations for arts administration, arts education, dance, film arts, literary arts, music, visual arts and Chinese opera will be determined by poll September 17 to 19.

A list of the nominated representatives will be submitted to the Chief Executive for consideration for appointment for the next term, which will begin January 1.
