The Centre for Health Protection urges people to maintain strict personal and environmental hygiene to prevent hand, foot and mouth disease after a Sham Shui Po nursery reported an outbreak affecting 20 children.
The 11 boys and nine girls, aged two to five, have come down with oral ulcers, fever and a rash on their hands or feet since April 12. All have seen doctors and are stable.
The institution has been put under medical surveillance.
