Tripartite infectious disease meeting to be held
*

Key medical and public health officials and professionals from Hong Kong, Guangdong, and Macau will attend the ninth tripartite meeting on the prevention and control of infectious diseases in Zhuhai, November 12 and 13.

 

The experts will discuss public health issues like control and preventive measures on infectious diseases, the monitoring of human swine flu and anti-microbial resistance, and collaboration of medical and public health experts in the three jurisdictions.

 

Director of Health Dr PY Lam will lead the Hong Kong delegation comprising representatives from the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority.

 

Other delegations will be led by Guangdong Health Department Director-General Professor Yao Zhibin and Macau Health Bureau Director Dr Lei Chin-ion.
