Winning entry: Li Ping-fai won the open competition section with his bonsai exhibit.

Li Ping-fai and TWG Hs Li Ka Shing College students have become the overall champions in the Hong Kong Flower Show 2009 Plant Exhibit Competition.

Mr Li won the open competition section with his bonsai exhibit, while TWG Hs Li Ka Shing College students won the school section with three pots of succulent plants.

The winner of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department Western-style garden plot competition was Central & Western District, while the winner of the Oriental-style garden plot competition was Southern District.

The plant exhibit competition attracted more than 2,000 entries and the overall standard of entries in the various categories of the competition was outstanding.
