Twins win global piano duo competition
*

The Home Affairs Bureau has congratulated young twin pianists Chau Lok-ping and Chau Lok-ting on winning first prize and three special prizes at the Fourth International Piano Duo Competition.

Aged 19, they were the youngest among all contestants, and the first Hong Kong pianists to have won such an international piano duo competition.

The sisters are second-year undergraduate students of the School of Music majoring in piano, at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

This year's International Piano Duo Competition took place from November 24 to 29 in Bialystok, Poland. It was open to contestants worldwide whose common combined age was below 70.
