Pyro show to celebrate Olympic success

The National Day fireworks display will be held 9pm over Victoria Harbour tomorrow, celebrating the 59th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The eight-scene display will include the Chinese characters for "China" and heart patterns, and twinkling colour strobes celebrating the success of the Beijing Olympics.

Light up the sky: The National Day fireworks display will be held at 9pm over Victoria Harbour tomorrow.

More than 23,800 shells will be discharged in the 23-minute display which can be seen from many vantage points on both sides of the harbour. Some of the best ones are in Tsim Sha Tsui, Mid-levels, Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Hung Hom.

Viewers can tune in to Radio Television Hong Kong's Radio 4 (FM 97.6-98.9) for synchronised music.
