2 Elderly Commission members reappointed
*

Professor Jean Woo and Dr John Wong have been reappointed as Elderly Commission members for eight months from July 30, the Labour & Welfare Bureau says.

 

Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung said he looked forward to their continued contributions to Hong Kong's elderly services development.

 

He also thanked outgoing members Dr Susie Lum and Anita Wong for their valuable contributions.

 

The commission's chairman is Dr Leong Che-hung while Prof Alfred Chan is the vice-chairman. Non-official members include Star Chan, Dr Lam Ching-choi, Prof Jean Woo, Kenneth Chan, Chan Han-pan, Prof Helen Chiu, Rev Dorothy Lau, Leo Ma, Dr Loretta Yam and Dr John Wong.
