36 swimming pools to open for free
*
Leisure & Cultural Services Department

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will open 36 swimming pools for individuals to use free of charge from July 1 to September 30.

Wan Chai Swimming Pool is designated for group training, and is excluded.

No advance booking is required for free admission to public swimming pools. Before each session starts, people can queue at the entrances to the swimming pool complexes and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis, the department said.

Pool staff may implement flow control as necessary depending on the situation at the facilities. Extra manpower and lifeguards will be deployed to strengthen the life-saving service, and maintain order at the entrances to the pool complexes.

The weekly cleansing operations will be conducted at pool complexes as usual. For more details, click here.
