Pharmacy exam results released
*

Pass rates for the three registration examinations for pharmacists in December ranged from 51% to 72%, the Pharmacy & Poisons Board says.

Of the 51 candidates who sat for the tests in pharmacy legislation, 51% passed. Of the 43 who sat for tests in pharmacy practice, 56% passed, and of the 50 who sat for tests in pharmacology, 72% passed.

Apart from meeting other requirements prescribed by the board, any pharmacy graduate outside Hong Kong intending to be registered as a pharmacist in the city is required to pass the three subjects.

The board conducts the examination twice a year, usually in June and December.
