Boy ill with Dengue fever

Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a Dengue fever case involving a 13-year-old Ma On Shan boy who fell ill after travelling to Indonesia, bringing the year's total to 36.

 

He went to Indonesia August 2 to 21 and developed a fever and rash on August 18. He was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital on August 23 and was discharged two days later. His four travel companions have no symptoms.
