The Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2007 will be held in Hong Kong from July 22 to 25. This year's theme is Culture Coming Home and participants will share views on cultural core values and Chinese modernity.
Delegations from the Ministry of Culture and various jurisdictions, and cultural ministers from Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will join the forum.
There will be a Mainland delegations meeting tomorrow and an Asian cultural ministers' meeting on July 23 at Nan Lian Garden, Diamond Hill.
Open forums will be held at the Academy for Performing Arts to discuss four topics - World Creativity Summit - Launch & Public Dialogues, Living Urban Heritage, Culture Core Values & Chinese Modernity and Popular Culture.
To tie in with the latter topic, an evening performance will be staged at Yau Ma Tei Community Centre Rest Garden on July 24.
