*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed the year's third Legionnaires' disease case. It involves a 52-year-old Lantau woman who travelled to Macau May 14 to 16 and came down with a fever and cough on May 26.

She was admitted to a private hospital on May 31 and her condition is stable.

There were three Legionnaires' disease cases in 2004, with 11 in 2005 and 16 in 2006. For more information on the disease and prevention tips, click here.
