Birds confirmed H5N1-positive
*
Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department

The two dead birds found in Tsuen Wan and Sham Shui Po have been confirmed to be H5N1 positive, the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department says.

The peregrine falcon was collected on Chai Wan Kok Street, Tsuen Wan, and the carcass of the house crow at Yee Kok Court, Sham Shui Po, on January 22.

People are urged to observe good personal hygiene. They should avoid personal contact with wild birds and live poultry and clean their hands thoroughly after coming into contact with them. For more health tips, click here.
