Olympic Games Exhibition
Olympics preview: The history of the Olympics and footage of China and Hong Kong athletes winning medals are shown on video at the exhibit.
*

An exhibition on the Olympic Games being staged at the Kowloon Park arcade will be extended until August 20 due to its popularity.

Open daily from 9am to 9pm since August 6, admission to the two-year countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games exhibition is free.

As those who visited the exhibit found it interesting and informative, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department has decided to extend it, letting more people participate and learn about the Olympic Games.

It features a brief introduction to the Olympic Games, 28 Olympic summer sports, achievements and highlights of the National Teams of China and Hong Kong Teams in the previous games and the preparations underway for the equestrian events to be held in Hong Kong.

Visitors can use the computer kiosks to surf for information on the Beijing Olympics, the 2009 East Asian Games and related websites while Olympic memorabilia, such as mascots, first-day covers and pins are also on display.
