The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported case of Dengue fever involving a 25-year-old Kwai Chung man.

He came down with fever, muscle and joint pain on March 29 after returning from Thailand and was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital six days later. He has recovered and has been discharged from hospital.

This is the eighth imported Dengue fever case this year.

His travel companion, a 25-year-old woman, was confirmed to have contracted the disease yesterday.
