New Tai Kok Tsui library to open
*
Leisure & Cultural Services Department

The new Tai Kok Tsui Public Library, with an initial stock of 64,000 items and 70 newspapers and periodicals, will open December 2.

 

Located at 3/F, Tai Kok Tsui Municipal Services Building, 63 Fuk Tsun Street, the 670 square metre library will open from 10am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday and on Fridays. It closes at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 1pm on public holidays. It is closed Thursday.

 

Apart from an adult lending library, children's library, newspaper and periodical section, extension activities room and computer and information area, there are seven computer workstations for multimedia services and an Online Public Access Catalogue.
