Acting Chief Executive Henry Tang has expressed his sadness on the death of former Secretary for Home Affairs Peter Tsao.

Mr Tsao served the Hong Kong Government and the people of Hong Kong from 1955 until his retirement in 1992.

"I am saddened to learn that Mr Peter Tsao has passed away," Mr Tang said.
