Amateur golfers are invited to join the Golf Driving Range Competition to be held at Tuen Mun Golf Centre on November 7.

Participants will be divided into 10 groups according to gender and age. They will have to compete in four events, namely Target Distance, Bunker Shot, Chip & Putt and Putting.

The winner and first and second runners-up of each division will win a medal and a certificate. The top three contestants of the Golf Driving Range Open Championship will each be awarded a trophy.

Entry fee is $20. A 50% concession will be offered to senior citizens, people aged below 15, people with disabilities and full-time students.

Applicants should return application forms and entry fees to the Tuen Mun Recreation & Sports Centre on or before October 15. At the time of enrolment, applicants must produce their identification documents for verification.

Alternatively, they can mail the completed forms and a crossed cheque payable to The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, copies of their identification documents and a stamped return envelope to the centre.
