Members of the public are invited to attend a hearing for the renewal of the domestic pay television programme service licence of Hong Kong Cable Television Limited. The licence is due to expire in May 2005.

The Broadcasting Authority is organising the hearing, to be held in Theatre 2 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 7pm to 9pm on November 20.

The authority will evaluate the licensee's performance against the various statutory requirements and licence conditions when considering recommendations.

The public hearing will be conducted in Cantonese. Simultaneous interpretation in English will be provided.
