Temperature checks set for ferry terminals
*
Temperature check
Traveller's check: Passengers departing from the Hong Kong-Macau and China Ferry Terminals will have their body temperature checked before boarding.
*

The Department of Health will conduct temperature checks on people departing from the Hong Kong-Macau and China Ferry Terminals from May 16 to further contain the spread of SARS.

The Auxiliary Medical Service will be responsible for conducting the checks, while the Immigration Department and other relevant parties will provide support and assistance.

Those suspected of having SARS will be referred to hospitals for further management. The department also called on people not to travel if they have a fever, or feel unwell.
