Atypical pneumonia
*
Joseph Wong to visit offices with virus cases
*

Secretary for the Civil Service Joseph Wong will visit Government offices where there are confirmed cases of atypical pneumonia, from tomorrow.

He will get first-hand information on the situation and listen to the views of staff.

Mr Wong said to support the Government's fight against atypical pneumonia, the Bureau has requested departments provide their staff with guidelines on preventive measures and sick leave arrangements.

In a letter to all civil servants, he said departments have also been advised to step up cleansing work in Government offices and facilities.

Meanwhile, Mr Wong called on all civil servants to continue serving the public with dedication and professionalism.

He expressed confidence in the world-class public health system and facilities of Hong Kong.
