Book sale raises money for Community Chest

*
Book sale
Best sellers: Time to stock up on your book collection and help charity at the same time. Be sure to visit the book sale this weekend.
*

More than 200,000 second-hand books will be on sale at bargain prices this weekend in a drive to raise money for the Community Chest.

The popular annual sale will be held February 15 and 16 from 10am to 6pm at Central Library and Sha Tin Town Hall.

A huge assortment of donated books for both adults and children will be sold for $5 each. To be environmentally friendly, the public is encouraged to bring along their own bags to carry the books.

The sale has been organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services and Home Affairs Departments, the District Councils, the Community Chest, Hongkong Post and the Agency for Volunteer Service, to promote reading and encourage book donations.

For more information about the book donation and sale campaign, please contact Mr Lai at 2921 0221.
