Yuen Long food factory shutdown
*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

Food & Environmental Hygiene officers have closed a Yuen Long food factory for two weeks for repeated violations of the Food Business Regulation.

The owner of the shop in Yee Fung Building, Yau San Street, failed to rectify breaches of the regulation which also saw it temporarily closed down in September.

The licensee was convicted twice of unauthorised extension of the food business.

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department reminded licensees to strictly abide by the Public Health & Municipal Services Ordinance or risk having their licences suspended or even cancelled.
