Sham Shui Po weather station opens
*
HK Observatory

The Sham Shui Po automatic weather station opened in Lai Chi Kok Park today, to take round the clock temperature and rainfall measurements.

The facility will give people access to the district's latest weather information through the Hong Kong Observatory's website and the 187 8200 dial-a-weather service.

The move fully implements the One District One Station programme, seeing at least one automatic weather station measuring temperature in each of Hong Kong's 18 districts.
