*
Environmental Protection Department

Water quality at 12 beaches has been rated 'good' for this weekend, while two others are 'fair'.

The best beaches are Big Wave Bay, Shek O, Chung Hom Kok, South Bay, Deep Water Bay, Stanley Main, Hairpin, St Stephen's, Middle Bay, Turtle Cove, Repulse Bay and Golden.

Clear Water Bay Second and Silverstrand Beaches are rated 'fair'.

Seven gazetted beaches are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.  They are Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido Beaches.
