Donald Tsang woos Jiangsu businesses
*

Jiangsu can use Hong Kong's professional services to expand its overseas markets, Chief Executive Donald Tsang says.

Leaving Shanghai to launch a tour of several cities in the province today, he met Secretary of the CPC Committee of Jiangsu Province Liang Baohua in Wuxi today.

Mr Tsang said listing in Hong Kong's stock market can help Jiangsu enterprises raise capital and enhance levels of corporate governance.

He also met Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal CPC Committee Yang Weize and attended a lunch hosted in his honour.

He later visited a research institute on "Internet of Things", which is a technology connecting objects with the Internet for identification, positioning, surveillance and management. It can be used in various areas including security, traffic management and household management.

In the evening he will depart for Nanjing to visit key enterprises and meet key local officials tomorrow.
