New restaurant to create 200 jobs
*

Xiao Nan Guo, a leading Shanghai-based restaurant chain, has invested $10 million in opening its second restaurant in Hong Kong, creating over 200 new jobs.

InvestHK Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion John Rutherford officiated at the opening ceremony of the 22,000 square feet Xiao Nan Guo - Imperial House in Causeway Bay today.

Hong Kong is home to over 7,000 restaurants offering virtually every international and Chinese regional cuisine available.

Mr Rutherford said the new investment will enhance our position as the region's gourmet paradise by introducing innovative Shanghainese delicacies, made with top quality ingredients and prepared by top-class chefs.

Shanghai Xiao Nan Guo Restaurant Group was founded in 1987. Its first restaurant was opened in Hong Kong in 2000.
