Seminar on enhanced SME schemes set
*
Trade & Industry Department

To help small and medium sized enterprises make better use of the four enhanced SME funding schemes, the Trade & Industry Department will hold a seminar on May 26 to introduce the improvement measures.

The department's Support & Consultation Centre for SMEs will hold the seminar at 2.30pm at Hong Kong Central Library in Causeway Bay.

Department officers will introduce the new features of the schemes, which include a wider scope, higher guarantee ceilings, and a longer guarantee period for the new SME Loan Guarantee Scheme, as well as higher funding ceilings and more flexible procedures for the SME Export Marketing Fund and Training Fund.

Also, SMEs which have successfully applied for the schemes will share with participants their experiences.

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free. Interested parties are requested to register by May 23. For enquiries, call 3403 6111. Details of the seminar can be found at the Virtual SME Information Centre.
