DH appeal to Cathay Pacific passengers
*
Department of Health

Passengers on Cathay Pacific flight 714 from Singapore to Hong Kong on April 15 are urged to call the Department of Health's hotline 187 2222 for health advice.

The plea follows the detection of a confirmed case of atypical pneumonia in a male cabin crew member.

The department has informed the Airport Authority and the airline, and advice has been issued for the plane to be disinfected.

The department is tracing the other crew members and passengers who took the flight, for surveillance purposes.

People with respiratory symptoms including fever, chills, malaise and cough are advised to avoid travelling by plane before recovery.
