18 education fund courses de-registered

*

The Labour & Welfare Bureau announced today that all reimbursable courses offered by the Hong Kong Institute of Continuing Education and the Penasia School of Continuing Education have been de-registered from the Continuing Education Fund with immediate effect.

The decision was made after the two institutions failed to comply with the conditions of approval for the fund's registration.

The two training institutions must inform all affected applicants about the course de-registration. They must not accept new applications for the de-registered courses or promote them as the fund's reimbursable courses.

They must continue to run the registered courses for those who have enrolled. If the courses have not yet begun, they must refund in full all course fees and related payments to applicants.

Click here for the names of the 18 de-registered courses or call 3101 5521 for enquiries.
