Quarterly employment survey to launch

Census & Statistics Department

The Census & Statistics Department will launch its latest quarterly survey on April 1 to collect data on employment and vacancies in major economic sectors.

 

This round covers 36,000 establishments drawn from various sectors, including the industrial and services sectors.

 

Information on the number of people engaged and vacancies, together with the characteristics of job vacancies, as at March 31, will be sought. Questionnaires are being sent by mail or fax to selected establishments.
