Education fund claim period widened
*

The validity period for making reimbursement claims for the Continuing Education Fund will be extended from two to four years from tomorrow.

The Labour & Welfare Bureau said today this is one of the second-phase improvement measures to enhance the fund's operation. A maximum of four claims will also be allowed within the four-year validity period.

The extension arrangement will apply to all applicants who have not claimed the maximum amount of $10,000, including former applicants whose validity period has already expired.

The Office of the Continuing Education Fund will soon issue letters to eligible applicants on the arrangement details.

For enquiries call 3142 2277.
