Two-day exhibit spotlights workers' rights

Labour Department

The Labour Department will hold an exhibit on the Employment Ordinance and the Wage Protection Movement in Ma On Shan on July 7& 8.

 

The exhibit opens at Sky-light Atrium, second floor, Ma On Shan Plaza, from 11am to 7pm.

 

It will feature the ordinance's main provisions, the rights and benefits of full-time and part-time workers and foreign domestic helpers, advice for summer job seekers, family-friendly employment practices and the use of written employment contracts.

 

Information on the Wage Protection Movement will be displayed and related publications and souvenirs will be distributed.
