The Research Grants Council has approved $5.2 million from the Public Policy Research Funding Scheme for 10 research project applications from tertiary institutions.
Council Chairman Roland Chin said this round of the scheme has attracted high quality research proposals. The 50 applications received from the University Grants Committee-funded institutions were reviewed by international experts in their respective fields.
The 10 selected projects cover a spectrum of public-policy research areas, such as healthcare, family policies, urban renewal and civic education. Details of the projects are available here.
