Shirley Wong and Lester Huang have been appointed as non-official members of the Education Commission for two years from January 1.

Ms Wong is the Chairman of Hong Kong Subsidised Secondary Schools Council and the Principal of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Kap Yan Directors' College. Mr Huang is a partner of PC Woo & Co.

Welcoming the appointments, Secretary for Education & Manpower Prof Arthur Li said with their rich experience in the education and professional sectors, they will be able to provide valuable advice to the commission.
