Entries invited for top science awards

Information Technology Commission

Hong Kong scientists with Chinese nationality are invited to submit entries for the 2007 State Technological Invention and the State Scientific & Technological Progress Awards.

 

The two categories are under the State Science & Technology Awards initiated by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

 

A project entitled Adult-to-Adult Right Lobe Live Donor Liver Transplantation was conferred the first-class award last year out of more than 800 projects.

 

The Innovation & Technology Commission said it is encouraging to see that the capabilities and achievements of local scientists highly commended by the Mainland.

 

Entries close December 18. The commission will form an expert judging panel to consider the entries.
