Two new Labour Department job centres in Yuen Long and North District will open September 28. They offer a free and comprehensive range of employment services to both job-seekers and employers in the northern New Territories.

They house vacancy search terminals, telephones, fax machines and computers with Internet connections, which can also be used to prepare resumes and application letters, offering a one-stop job-hunting spot. District-based job fairs will be held at the centres.

They are situated at: 2/F Yuen Long Centre, 55 Sau Fu Street, Yuen Long (3692 5750) opposite Tai Kiu Market; and at Units 2001-2006, Level 20, Landmark North, 39 Lung Sum Avenue, Sheung Shui (3692 4532), next to Sheung Shui KCR Station.

Opening hours are 9am to 5.30pm weekdays, and 9am to noon Saturdays.
