Proposals invited to promote English festival
*

The Standing Committee on Language Education & Research is inviting proposals for  English Festival 2007 promotional activities.

The committee said the annual festival has attracted about 60,000 students and teachers to participate in its activities. Since 2005, more than 3 million people have watched the festivals' TV programmes.

The committee believes in enhancing the English learning environment  through music, drama, sports, debating, games, language arts, and other fun and creative activities.

Institutions interested in organising activities for the festival should submit their proposal by post or in person to the committee at Room 1702, Skyline Tower, 39 Wang Kwong Road, Kowloon Bay, before 6pm on September 15.
