Views are being sought on whether a statutory minimum wage and standard working hours should be introduced. A dedicated webpage has been launched allowing submission of public views.

Given the far-reaching implications of the proposal on the economy and the labour market, the public can air views on the issue by mailing the Labour Department, 17/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, faxing 2110 9467 or emailing wage@labour.gov.hk by December 16.
