Parents who want to apply under the Primary One Admission System for a primary one place for their child in government or aided schools in September next year are reminded to submit their application starting September 13.
Those who wish to apply for a particular government or aided primary school in the Discretionary Places Admission Stage should submit the completed application form with all supporting documents directly to that school from tomorrow to September 17.
The Education & Manpower Bureau said parents may apply to a school in or outside the school net in which they reside. However, they have to consider possible transport problems when selecting a school outside their neighbourhood.
Submit one application only
Parents should submit only one application form for each child, otherwise their application will be rendered void.
Children who have accepted the offer of primary one places in Direct Subsidy Scheme primary schools will not be allocated such places in government or aided primary schools through the Primary One Admission System.
Parents who opt to apply only for Central Allocation should submit the completed application forms and supporting documents to the bureau's School Places Allocation Section (Primary One Admission), second floor, Lui Kee Education Services Centre, 269 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai between September 13 this year and January 14 next year.
