The Labour Department will stage a recruitment forum for the retail industry at Olympian City on August 25, providing over 1,000 vacancies.

Fifteen companies will set up recruitment booths at the venue. Vacancies include shop manager, assistant shop manager, management trainee, shop supervisor, customer service officer, salesperson, sales representative, cashier, shop assistant, warehouse assistant trainee, maintenance technician, messenger and cleaner.

Most positions have monthly salaries ranging from $4,500 to $10,000. Job-seekers can submit applications and may be selected for interviews on the spot.

The department will also conduct on-site registration for job-seekers.

The forum will run from 10.30am to 6pm at Central Atrium, Olympian City 2, 18 Hoi Ting Road, West Kowloon. Admission is free.
