S6 central allocation results set for release
*

The results of central allocation of Secondary Six places in Stage V of the S6 Admission Procedure will be posted on the Education & Manpower Bureau homepage at 6pm tomorrow.

The results will also be posted at all Regional Education Offices from 9am the following day.

Successful applicants should go in person to the school allocated for registration before 3.30pm on August 14, bringing along their identity card and their HKCEE results notice.

Those students who are still unable to secure an S6 place upon completion of Stage V may be able to get a place at the start of the new school year as some successful students may decide not to take up their places.

The S6 vacancy information will be posted on the bureau's homepage and at all Regional Education Offices throughout September.

Applications should be made to these schools directly. Admission will be at the discretion of the school authorities.

Meanwhile, students who would like to continue their studies can consider a wide range of study opportunities, including Project Yi Jin, vocational training courses, post-secondary programmes run by various institutions, the Youth Pre-employment Training Programme and the Youth Work Experience & Training Scheme.
